An Amazing Gift

So this year I received the best gift I have ever been given. Christmas Eve my Father met with the Tumor Specialist at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake and he was told that surgery would not be needed. For those of you who didn't know, my Father was diagnosed with a brain tumor in November. This last month has been one filled with prayers, and how grateful we are to Heavenly Father for His mercies! They will actually be able to shrink the tumor slowly over time with the use of two pills a week forever, and oh how we will enjoy that forever. Family is everything in this world. I just can't say how grateful I am and how much I love my Dad.

The Joy of Christmas with Children

The festivities started with setting up the tree and making a gingerbread house with Dallin. We have loved the snow that continues to fall. Seeing that we would be traveling for the holidays we had an early Christmas at home before starting off to Twin. Dallin is just at the perfect age for opening gifts and seeing the excitement in his eyes was priceless! Reed loved playing with the paper and at 6 mo he did great at opening presents! Christmas Eve was spent with the Hyatt family; we enjoyed a nice dinner and then traveled to see the nativity and lights. The boys were fast asleep by the time we got home. Early Christmas morning Dallin could be heard saying "Oh my gosh a car". We joined him around the tree and enjoyed the holiday fest. We truly have had a Merry Christmas, and couldn't ask for a thing, we are so blessed with wonderful family. We are thankful for the Savior at this time and for his life and example. To you all thank you for the gifts, cards, and love, Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Dallin' s First Horse Ride

Dallin LOVED his ride on Wiskers - a horse my Grandfather got for all the grandchildren over ten years ago. While riding he told Grandpa that one, he wanted to ride by the river and two, he wanted to ride through the river. I couldn't believe how brave he was, it was definitely a hard thing to share with his cousin Kevin. Thanks to my Dad for taking Dallin, and to Hailey and Julie for getting the horses. I even took the chance to ride with Hailey and put the horses in the coral. Needless to say that little saddle was not nearly big enough for my hind-end and it was a good thing that it was only a .5 mile ride.

Thanksgiving Holiday

It was so nice to be with my family (the Crozier's) for Thanksgiving. Dallin was thrilled to play with Kolby and Kevin for a few days. We spent a lot of time just visiting and hanging out. Those of us who could go to the temple went to a session, it was wonderful to be together! Ross and I also went with my brother Luke and sister Hailey to a Christmas concert where Charlie Jenkins and Michael Martin Murphy sang. Ross was in heaven when he realized that Murphy was the original artist of one of his favorite songs, "Wildfire". Thanks to my mom for all the cooking she did for our feast. I love you all.

John Darst

My Great Grandpa Darst passed away the night of Nov. 30th from Kidney Failure. He lived to be 92 years old. What a life. He travel a lot during his years of driving bus. He took many tours to Alaska and the East Coast. He was always found with a toothpick in his mouth, and anxious fingers ready to tickle. In his later years he could be found tinkering with all kinds of yard sale finds and he enjoyed making pens out of wood. I will always remember hearing him sing, "but who said I was a bum," he will be missed. We were able to see him one last time at the family reunion in Kansas in 2007. I would say that this picture with Dallin shows a little of his happy personality.

SOLD

Our big news is that our home is officially sold. We close on the 12th and are hoping to find a rental an be in boise on December the 6th. We are so thankful that we will be able to be together as a family, especially to celebrate the holidays. I look forward to nights of sitting with my husband while enjoying the glow of christmas lights. Twin has been a wonderful place to live. We will miss all of our friends and family in the area. The Things Little Boys Do and Say

Toes...Reed's favorite thing, when they're available he is either playing with them, or sucking on them. If he is wearing socks it's not very long until he has cold feet and wet socks. He is definitely working on his flexibility. Oh how these two boys put smiles on my face and laughter in my heart all day long. Dallin cracks me up with the things he says lately. Some of his new phrases are, 'in a minute', 'baby do it', 'come on', 'poco', 'I do it', 'thanks', and 'I want a snack', 'clean up', and believe it or not 'I'm tired'.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

We are happy to announce the future wedding of Julie, Ross's Sister, to Michael Vasquez this coming March. We are thrilled to have Michael as part of our family.

Grandma & Grandpa Crozier

We had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. They journeyed from Utah to Sandiego and up the coast to Oregon, stopping at our home on the way back for two days. We had a nice relaxed visit and enjoyed one another's company. Dallin cried as they went on their way. He is already looking forward to the horse ride Grandpa promised over Thanksgiving. While they where here we went to lunch at a local creamery and traveled along highway 30 to see some of the farms south of Twin Falls. We also watched as American Votes were counted and Barack Obama became President Elect. May God always bless America!

A 'CARS' Halloween

They boys were dressed up as Guido and Lightning McQueen for Halloween this year. Dallin had fun helping paint his costume until he realized he was supposed to put it on...'I don't like it!'...needless to say we were able to snap a couple of pictures at the trunk'r'treat. I had to laugh at the boys, Reed slept the whole time and Dallin had no intrest in obtaining treats, but he had fun running around the parking lot and seeing all the other kids. All in all I would have to say that kids put a little fun into a holiday that I am not too fond of.

Happy 30th Ross

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY! Ross turned 30 today, October 23, 2008; and with only a couple gray hairs! I'm so thankful to call him my husband, friend, and the father of our children. Some of the things. I love about him are his sense of humur, his excitement over finding the best deals, the way the boys adore him, his love and patience with me, his desire to be better, and I can't not mention his singing in the shower (sorry to tell your secrets). We love you!

Recent Happenings

First I just have to say that I love my family so much! As you'll see below Dallin is such a great help at the nursery; Reed had his first taste of cereal this week, and he absolutely loves it; The 'boys' love hopping around at Hop-2-It; Reed continues to be a joy, and is dang cute (in my motherly opinion); Dallin recently graduated to his 'big boy bed' and is sleeping through the night once more; We love it when Ross is home on the weekends; Lastly I had to laugh when Dallin turned his bib around and proclaimed he was Super Man. We are truly enjoying the JOURNEY!

Travis Jeffries

Ross's career move to Travis Jeffries, a public accounting firm, in Boise has been a good one. He loves working in the downtown area. Boise is such a well planned city and it offers many amenities. We are looking forward to the temple,bronco games, the zoo, canoeing in the boise river, walking along the 15 mile plus green trail, shopping, movies, musems, parks, and close proximity to lakes and good skiing.

Fall is in the Air

There is nothing better than the beautiful leaves during the fall. The boys decided to take full advantage of them this past conference weekend.
