No, I Didn't Eat Your Tomato

So this looks like a really sad photo, even mean of me to post it, but the story is so funny. All morning long I had told Dallin that the tomatoes were for our dinner and that he would have to wait. Our day went on, and I was working out when I looked down to find a little red face looking up at me. I simply asked Dallin, "Did you eat my tomato?" He looked at me and said "NO". We walked over to the cupboard and again I asked the same question, "Did you eat my tomato?" He replied the same, "NO!" By this time I was just trying not to laugh as I sat him down on a chair and tried to talk to him, he was persistent, and even at 8:00 pm before bed Ross asked him about it as he continued to deny the action.

Little Boy Moments

These are some of those unforgetable moments in the lives of little boys. Reed was sitting in his jumper for about 3 min and I looked over to find him fast asleep, if only it was that easy to fall asleep anywhere as you get older. Dallin has learned to fend for himself these days, needless to say I now have to hide the sugary treats and fruit. Dallin also is creative in his resources and made some drums out of our recycling bin. Reed had his first cracker, and loved it. He will eat most anything, except peas wich end up everywhere but in his tummy. Another first was Reed's hair cut; he had two long patches of hair by his ears so I buzzed him in hopes that it would stimulate some growth, dosen't he look handsome. Our last moment for the month of January is Dallin and his obsession with Mom and Dad's shoes, I couldn't help but think that someday his Dad's shoes would fit just right.

2009 Special Olympics

Last Saturday Ross and I had the opportunity to take the boys to the opening ceremonies of the 2009 Special Olympics hosted in Idaho. It was amazing to see so many participants from 52 countries around the world. I have never attended an event where there were so many people. Kenny G performed a song along with other artists and that was probably Ross's favorite part.

Grandma and Grandpa Hyatt

Brent and Jan made a visit to Boise, we enjoyed having them spend the night, and Dallin was thrilled to have Oma and Pappy at our house. I regret not taking a photo of them and the boys, I'll have to get used to that I guess. They're great grandmparents, thanks for coming.
