My Little Grayson

Oh my little Grayson, you are such a joy in our lives. Your brothers adore you and your Dad and I love you so much. As number three I'm not too concerned with schedules or milestones you should be reaching, it is all about snuggling, laughing, and keeping you little as long as I can. You are extremely easy going, and happy all the time. At almost six months old you are weighing in at 19+ pounds and wearing 12-18 month clothes! We love your huge thighs! You are rolling over a little, and love playing with toys! Bath time is fun as you kick and splash everywhere! Dallin loves to make you laugh and watches out for you all the time. Reed is a little jealous at times, but loves you and lets me know when you are crying. You have been eating rice cereal and oatmeal for a week now and you're starting to enjoy it, as you seem to be a picky eater. You do love your water you get at meal time. You still refuse a binky and actually laugh each time I try to put one in your mouth as you spit it back at me. You love to suck your thumb instead and are making the cutest noises ever. You give slobbery kisses with your mouth wide open and do not sleep through the night yet. Recently you had croup and we are all so glad that you are getting better. We are all enjoying you and love you so much.

Seven Years

Happy anniversary to us! Wow, I can hardly believe that I've spent nearly eight years with Ross, seven of them being married. What a wonderful journey it has been. I am so lucky this guy took a liking to me and decided to show off enough for me to pay close attention! I will admit it was sparks from the start! Ross and some of his friends came a knocking one night and paid my roommates and I a visit. I'll admit I was real jealous when he sat next to Autumn across the room and we hardly talked at all. That night I ran up the stairs yelling I'm going to marry that guy, excited in my little crush, little did I know...I guess someone was listening. Our first date followed shortly along with our first kiss and it is all history from there. I love you Ross! We were able to getaway in Boise for a night with only Grayson as company. We went to dinner and a show, stayed in a hotel, slept in, walked the green belt and spent some time at the Idaho Historical Museum. Thanks to Brent and Jan for watching the boys for us who had a great time themselves going to Arctic Circle, the movies and Shoshone falls on a picnic.

I'm THREE

Reed turned three, and he was so excited! It was all he had talked about for two weeks. The morning started out with sprinkles in his oatmeal! He was so excited he told me that he'd better go wake up daddy and tell him it was his birthday. We made cake and the boys did a good job of cleaning up the frosting in their own way. Reed wanted a green cake with blue frosting so it was pretty easy to put together this year. To celebrate we went to Thousand Springs Hot Springs. Grandma and Grandpa Hyatt, and Julie and Michael joined us for a fun night of swimming, pizza, watermelon, cake and presents. In the end it was a success! Reed was thrilled and the boys stayed in bed till 10:30 playing with his new spider man and lightning mcqueen toys. We love you our little Reedy!

Preschool Graduation

A big thanks to Mrs. Mortenson for the time and dedication she put into each and every day of preschool. We were so impressed with her program, Dallin really learned alot and had a great time doing it. He is well prepared and excited for kindergarten. For their preschool graduation the kids put on a play called, "Caps for Sale," Dallin was a monkey that pestered the peddler. They all did such a good job.

Mother's Day

I was so blessed growing up to have had a wonderful Mother, we had our moments along the way but today she is one of my very best friends. So lucky was I, and thankfully she put up with me along the way. I am also grateful for Ross's Mother and the way she raised him and the relationship we have. Being a Mother is such a blessing in my life, something I would not trade for anything. I love my children so much and pray that I'll be able to be the kind of Mother they need and love. This year's mother day we spent with the Hyatts, it was especially great to be with Beth and Wayne who drove up from Arizona for the week. Beth and I also celebrated our birthdays with some cake and ice cream to top it all off. For some reason turning 28 was hard this year, I guess I just can't believe I'm coming up on my 10 year class reunion...has it been that long...how did it go so quickly? Thanks to Ross for taking me out for dinner and a little shopping while his sister Julie watched the kids, thanks Julie.

Thumb Sucking

Caught in the act. One day I just happened to find Grayson sucking his thumb during his afternoon nap, it was the first time he had successfully found it to my knowledge. We have tried to give him a Binky but he simply refuses and he is not fond of the bottle either at this point. Knowing how hard it is to try and get Reed to stop sucking his fingers I really was hoping that he would eventually enjoy a Binky but for now we have a thumb sucker, and it is actually really cute, lets just hope that it is not a hard habit to break later in life.

Easter Weekend

This year we spent Easter in Neola with the Crozier's. We had a great trip. Ross went out with the guys to burn piles my Dad had pushed with the bulldozer as he is clearing more land for summer grazing. Everyone loved seeing him squeeze into Luke's wranglers! We had a great time visiting with Grandma Deane and spending some time outside. The boys especially enjoyed going for a ride in her tricycle. My Mom's parents made the drive from Kansas too, so the boys were able to see all their 'Crozier' Grandparents. We had an egg hunt, decorated sugar eggs, colored eggs, played with cousins and did lots of visiting. It was great to all be together and thanks to Luke for giving up his room for us and bunking on the couch!
