We figured that we'd need something fun to do last Thursday, it was just so cold and dreary out side. A quick trip to Michaels and we were set. The boys got a kit to make power balls. I was amazed at how easy it was, and they boys loved making their own bouncy balls. We also made some Easter cupcakes. Dallin loves to help me in the kitchen and he thought our carrot cupcakes were great, seeing that bunnies love munching on carrots. 
We joined Amanda, Brayden, and Dillon at the Herrett Center on Wednesday morning. Dallin was so excited to go, he really wanted to see some dinosaur bones. We all enjoyed looking at the displays, and have decided that we need to get everyone into a planetarium showing one of these days. 
We had a great weekend! Ross and I got dressed up and went to the Stake Valentine dinner and dance. It was fun to get out and we had a great time being together. Ross has some famous dance moves, and I was quickly reminded of the first institute dance we were at together. Later that night my parents and Luke rolled in, followed by Hailey and Jared the next day. We had a great time visiting, and we even put up the tramp my parents got us for Christmas. We made sugar cookies, played games, and watched UP that they had brought to Dallin as a get well present. We always love having them with us. Thanks for the visit.
Before Dallin went in to get his stitches out we did a little role playing. His dog had gotten hurt and Ralph needed fixing. Dallin was so cute reading him a story and telling him it would be ok. We stitched him up and then took the scissors to the threads. I think it was positive because Dallin was very relaxed at the hospital inviting everyone to go out for ice cream with us after he was brave. He told the doctor that he needed little scissors and that he didn't want to take the stitches home with him because they were scratchy. By the time we left the entire staff was laughing at him, so cute when he turned to leave, waved, and yelled, "see you next time I get stitches." I was so proud! We went to get ice cream as promised, and we ordered the only treat with all is requests, chocolate sauce, cherries, razzle dazzle topping, sprinkles, and whipped cream (from a little people movie), needless to say, we shared. 
Reed seems to have a slightly weaker immune system than Dallin does. It seems like he has had a cold the entire winter season. I find him often ready for a nap. I figured it was time I started taking some pictures so here they are. The last picture's story is good though. The boys had been playing upstairs while I cleaned downstairs. Dallin came down to color about 30 min later I wondered where Reed was, he usually followed Dallin within a few minutes. I walked upstairs and looked in all the rooms, then again, I started yelling for him, throwing apart Dallin's fort of blankets and couch cushions, terrified that he was underneath the mass not breathing. Upon not finding him I continued to run from room to room, searching closets, corners, under beds. Ready to call 911, and frantically screaming I found him still asleep atop my hamper in our closet, which I had already looked in twice while yelling. I scooped him up and just held him while he slept, thanking God that he was alright. He is good at scaring his momma! Oh how I love his skinny buns!
That's right I love to coupon. When my Dad was here he asked if the paper boys dropped all the papers off at our house and the neighbors had to come get own...I get 5 Sundays and love the clipping, and organizing that follows. Yes I have a folder full of baseball card sheets with tabs, table of contents, the whole thing. I had to laugh. Here is a couple of purchases this last month. Maybe not the best, but I was still thrilled!
