Preschool

Dallin has been talking about preschool for almost a year now. He knew that when he turned 4 he would be able to go. His first day was so exciting! I couldn't believe how big he looked wearing his back pack. His teach is Mrs. Mortenson and she is doing a fabulous job with kids, I have been so impressed with the things they do every day! Dallin brought home a plate with the letter X on it the first day, as it was the letter they learned about, and he was so excited to tell me all about it. Since then he has made and F, a puppet, and big poster all about him, and he has even done some homework. It is going to be a fun year I can tell.

Labor Day at Flaming Gorge, UT

Labor Day Weekend was spent with the Crozier family on a camp out at Flaming Gorge this year. It was wonderful to be together as a family! We're all married now, with the exception of Luke - Happy 16ht B-Day, and it's great spending time together. The boys absolutely loved playing with their cousins, as they always do. We played in the lake, ate way too much food and enjoyed visiting with everyone. We toured the Dam and it was amazing to see the old photos taken during the construction process. You actually ride on an elevator through the dam all the way down to where the water is released into the river and there are coin machines at the bottom to feed the fish, the boys loved this of course. On Saturday we all floated the Green River. I will admit that I was a little nervous with the kids but I had nothing to worry about. There were seven sets of rapids and the boys loved them to my surprise. Reed would get so excited and say "to infinity and beyond", he also loved the bale bucket, a red plastic Folgers can, it was his hat - Dallin said it looked like a top hat. Dallin loved kneeling with Kolby in the front of the raft as we bounced through the water. The weather was wonderful and turned cold right on schedule the morning we left. The ride home was rather long as Reed got the dreaded flu bug and we found ourselves on the side of the road many times trying to clean him, his car seat and the truck up. It was the beginning of a great tradition, so glad everyone was able to make it!

It's a BOY!

We are excited to announce that #3 is a boy. Today we attended our much anticipated ultra sound, and here is a picture of our little bundle. This little guy just might be a snuggler too, his little body was right against mine and I have been feeling him move a lot, Ross has even felt him kick. How fun it is to say him, he, and brother rather than it and the baby.

Happy 4th Birthday Dallin

Dallin continues to grow and change but one thing has remained the same, his love for jelly beans. There were two things on his wish list this year, 1 being a gun, and 2 being jelly beans. We had a lot of fun making his cake into the #4 and then decorating it with all the colors in the rainbow as he would say. One of the things Dallin is the most excited about now that he is 4 is starting preschool.

2 Boys 1 Room

Two nights ago we put Reed to bed in Dallin's room. He was so excited and to our surprise he never tried to climb out of bed once. We've had two wonderful nights and one great nap in the 'big bed' now. Wouldn't it be great if potty training went this well, that is next on my to do list before the baby is born. The real reason for this post is to share the behind the scene moment. After tucking the boys in for the night I turned the light off, closed the door, and sat beside the door - just waiting to say "go to bed boys". I should have had more faith, instead I leaned my ear against the door to hear Dallin get out of bed and pull the blind back, he said, "it's dark Reed, you see that star, I hope your dreams come true, lets go to sleep." I could hardly believe it! I must be a little sappy because I started to cry and Ross looked at me like I was crazy, of course I had to tell him what happened and we both sat by the door hoping for more, but not a peep, they both were asleep before we knew it. Boys I love you so much, thanks for being such wonderful brothers!

Hyatt Family Pics

It is official, Ross's siblings are all married now and living in ID and AZ. After Beth and Wayne's wedding we got together for a picture while everyone was still in town. It has been such a blessing to marry into a wonderful family.
