The "Crozier's" Come to Town

We had a fun filled first week with my Mom coming to stay a week and a surprise visit from my Dad, and siblings (Hailey, Julie, and Luke). It was great to have them visit. My Mom was a huge help, I always hate saying goodbye, but so grateful to have her as my best friend. So thanks for the visits guys! Ross's parents have also been great, and his sister Julie came for a visit from Pocatello (I just didn't think to snap any pics - my bad). One more thanks to all our friends and other family members, the phone calls and thoughtfulness have been wonderful! We love you all.

Reed Randy Hyatt

Our little bundle of joy has finally joined our family. Reed was born at 1:03 p.m. on June 9th. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz.s and was 21 inches long. What a joy he has been! Reed has hardly been fussy at all, sleeps and eats great, and he has simply brought a sweetness into our home.

BIG BABY NEWS...

Well, we haven't had the little squirt yet but he is on his way. The doctore stripped my membranes today and said that if they didn't see me before Monday to come in and they'd induce me at 7:30 a.m. Either way we'll most likely have a baby by dinner time Monday night. I am so excited, and can't wait for Dallin to be able to hold his little brother, and see what we have been telling him about for months. Ross is going to take off a few days of work, I am so glad he'll be able to spend them with us. When Dallin was born he had to leave for an Audit the day after we got home from the hospital (luckily my mom was here). Anyway, in the meantime here are some random pics of the last couple weeks...

Shoshone Falls

The water flow at Shoshone Falls is medium this time of year. We had a great time on our Friday night picknick, and Dallin really seemed to enjoy the small water falls and rocks to play on.

Noah's Ark Puzzle

Well, I finished my puzzle. I had a great time, and although it dosen't quite look like the original I thought it was an ok first time tole-painting. Dallin loves to put puzzles together, so I'm sure it will get lots of use

Reed is in Nursery, and Mom and Dad get to enjoy a spiritual lesson again on a regular basis

Dallin informed us that yes, Santa was baptized

I got my wisdom teeth taken out

Reed sings the ABC's and counts to 6, and no one but Mom knows his language

Dallin gets his first set of water colors and fills our kitchen with creativity

Our first trip to the ER to have Dallin stitched up after falling and hitting his right cheek on the counter top

Dallin, "Mom you're kinda like a girl today, girls wear bows in their hair." I was wearing a headband.

Reed gets three more teeth and is holding strong to his 3 mo long cold

Reed finds enjoyment in making us gag by discovering him naked in the am and poop all over the crib and sheets, twice in one week, yuck!

I've been putting a few velcro rollers in my hair when I blow-dry it to add some volume, and Dallin in so faithful in telling me that I'm kinda like a Grandma with rollers.

Little Reed is going on his second antibiotic to try and get rid of his ear infection.

Scott and Tristan married on Saturday the 13th in the Twin Falls Temple.

Reed's nickname for Dallin is DD, and it is so cute to hear him say it. He is getting really good and pointing to all his body parts when we ask where they are.

Dallin had his first primary participation this month by giving the 4th Article of Faith.

Easter is fast approaching and they boys have loved coloring eggs, filling plastic eggs, and the trill of the egg hunt.

Before bed Dallin told me, "Mom, I'm proud of you for putting the eggs in the cups, and you're proud of me for putting stickers on the eggs, and you're proud of Reed for....stickers, and I'm proud of Dad too."

Reed is addicted to Grape Juice, that's right the purple stuff. I make him drink it in the kitchen and when he wants more and I tell him he needs to have water he pouts, and he is getting really good at it.

"Mom, no more babies" says Dallin

Reed melts my heart as he comes into my room daily and says lay by, while climbing in my bed to comfort me

Ross's sister Beth was married and while sitting at the outdoor reception we hear people start yelling Ross...I look over to see a bear bottom and a very focused little boy peeing amongst the crowd. Dallin was crushed as he told us everyone was laughing at him.

July 2010
Reed jumps around the house yelling "to infinity and beyond" at least 20 times a day

Dallin loves to look at the baby book to see how the baby has changed each month - still thinks it is a girl

Dallin took a piece of candy from the bins at Winco and we had to turn around and he had to go tell the store manager that he had stolen and was sorry

Dallin loves shapes, colors and rainbows! He has a set of mini Lightning McQueen books and he is always setting them up and telling me to come and see his rainbow. It wasn't until a few weeks ago I realized that he had and had been for a while been setting his books up ROYGBIV, just like the rainbow. He also does this when setting up other items of color or when coloring and painting - it amazes me

When asked where the baby is Reed will lift up his shirt and point to his belly

Reed has such a love for his brother and copies most things Dallin does. He also shows his love for Dallin by continually saying, "One for DD" when ever he is given a snack

When Dallin does something Reed doesn't agree with he quickly yells Dallin Ross Hyatt - no idea where he got that from

Good morning, Hi, Mommy, Daddy these are all words you'd expect to hear from a two year old as he comes into your room each morning - not from Reed - it never fails that the first words spoken and repeated several times are "I'm Hungry"

Dallin and Reed love to sing 3 songs every night, they include "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam", and "I am a Child of God"

Dallin thinks baby Hyatt should be named Eddie

A trip to Boise found us downtown and while we waited in the car for Ross two businessmen walked by in suits while Dallin replied, "There go some Prophets"

Dallin is so cute to kiss mom's belly and to tell the baby goodnight

Dallin asks Santa for a Transformer and Reed wants Buzz, Woody & Jessie from Toy Story

Grayson was born on Dec 31st

Headed down the stairs is heard, I'm going to beat you Reed followed by I'm going to beat you Grayson. Reed now has someone he can be faster than.

We found Dallin and Reed sleeping together in Dallin's bed, so rewarding to see your kids so close

"Reed's my best friend"

Reed, "Baby wants you" and "I go to Preschool"

Grayson's first real smile at Mom 3 1/2 weeks

Grayson smiles at Ross at 4 weeks and is getting chunky

When showing Grayson to people Reed always says, "He's sooooooooooooooo cute"

February 2011

Reed walks around the house singing, "tinkle tinkle little star"

Grayson is blessed on the 6th by his Father

Dallin says, Aunt Hailey is pretty because she has long hair

Grayson weighs 14.5 lbs and growing

Reed, "You change my diaper and I'll watch the butterflies" as he lays in his room

When Dallin says something I don't understand or agree with he'll say, "oh mom, that's Spanish"

Grayson starts to coo and smile more often

Ross turns 33

While sitting around the table for Ross's birthday with family we start talking about animals and someone mentioned possums. Dallin was quick to correct us that they were opossums and that they were nocturnal like bats...something he learned while watching Wild Krats

Shout Hooray, Reed learns to go potty in the toilet after a long stuggle we learn that Dallin told him it hurt to go poop in the toilet, yet after a couple of successes he is 100 percent convinced that it is fun to go potty in the toilet. I am loving life!

We started a new family tradition this year by going to Miracle Hot Springs on the morning of Christmas Eve, we all had a great time

Grayson turns 1

We bought a van, and are loving it! I am thrilled with the automatic doors and radio!

Reed is so excited to go to primary and to be a sunbeam, although he will miss Sister Wolf

Dallin and Reed have fun at a sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Hyatt's to celebrate Dallin passing all (1 through 9) 50 in a minute tests at school

Grayson refuses to drink anything that is not warmed in the microwave, even water

Reed learns to ride his bike and yells yee haw cowboy as he rides down the street wearing his boots

Dallin's joke. What is the difference between Lotso and a battery? One of them has a positive side.

Graysons best friend is still his thumb and he loves being chased, such a happy boy who still naps twice a day

Grayson will say hi and bye and Dad, but only to Dad, he refuses to talk to me even though he is attatched to my hip

Reed asks after pointing to my chest, "Are we going to have two babies?"

Mom gets to help Dallin tiedye t-shirts at school

Grayson deides he is too big for his highchair and refuses to eat in it, looks like we are going to need a booster seat

Today Dallin prayed at breakfast to be able to remember the hard parts in his talk, and he did great in primary

Trip to the Hogle Zoo with Great Grandma and Grandma Crozier, along with all the Aunts and Cousins
