Get-Away

We had a great Get-away over Conference weekend. We left early Friday morning and drove to Sandy where we ate at Fudruckers and then spent some time at the Living Aquarium. The boys had fun at lunch and were thrilled to get balloons and play on the arcade games - even though we never put any quarter into the slots! The aquarium was so much fun, and the kids loved it! The exhibits were wonderful, even Ross and I were impressed. That night we went with Ross to his mission reunion, the first he's been to since we've been married. We were able to see both his mission presidents and two people he knew from the district. We finished the night off with a swim. Saturday we swam again and stayed in relaxing as we listened to conference. A trip to temple square and dinner at the Mayan finished off our day. It was so great to spend time away from home with our family. The kids favorite part was the swimming of course and staying at the hotel. One funny story I have to share is about Dallin. After swimming I took Dallin and Reed to get showered and ready for the day. Dallin was ready first so I sent him on his way to get dressed with the clothes I'd laid out for him, it took a little longer to get Reed out of the shower because he was shivering so much and he spent more time in the warm water. Needless to say by the time I was out myself it had been a while. I walked into the room to see my four year old kneeling on the office chair coloring away buck naked. He is simply addicted to coloring and drawing. Of course I had to snap a picture, but it will only be making the baby book!

10 Weeks Old

Once my Mother said we didn't have babies, we have toddlers...oh how fast they grow. Grayson is growing fast and at 10 weeks is wearing 6 month clothes. The boys call him 'Chubby Baby' and I laugh each time I change his diaper and see his rolls!He is the biggest snuggler, and just so happy!

Grayson Brent

Grayson's Baby Blessing

Grayson Brent Hyatt was blessed by his Father on February 6th. The blessing was beautiful and it reminds us of the special spirit we have in our home, how much we love Grayson and they joy he has added in our lives. We so appreciate all those who traveled to be with us on this special day. It is always such a treat to spend time with our families, we love you all.

Hazardous

Would you call this dangerous? Perhaps a suffocation hazard! Reed loves to bring Grayson stuffed animals! I find myself nursing with a pile of animals at my feet and in my lap with Grayson, as Reed makes his multiple trips to the baby's room. The other day this is what I discovered, a whole zoo of animals asleep in the crib, thankfully Grayson was with me during this time.

Double Trouble

I have come to believe that one of Dallin and Reed's favorite past times is playing with the cushions...I consider it pure destruction! As of recently, I've finally come to terms with the fact that they love to play in this way. Most recently these large, heavy, items made for relaxing on, have been transformed into forts, ships, homes and traps. They provide hours of entertainment, and with a little effort and cleaning they are once again transformed into somewhere to sit.
