Grayson Brent

Grayson's Baby Blessing

Grayson Brent Hyatt was blessed by his Father on February 6th. The blessing was beautiful and it reminds us of the special spirit we have in our home, how much we love Grayson and they joy he has added in our lives. We so appreciate all those who traveled to be with us on this special day. It is always such a treat to spend time with our families, we love you all.

Hazardous

Would you call this dangerous? Perhaps a suffocation hazard! Reed loves to bring Grayson stuffed animals! I find myself nursing with a pile of animals at my feet and in my lap with Grayson, as Reed makes his multiple trips to the baby's room. The other day this is what I discovered, a whole zoo of animals asleep in the crib, thankfully Grayson was with me during this time.

Double Trouble

I have come to believe that one of Dallin and Reed's favorite past times is playing with the cushions...I consider it pure destruction! As of recently, I've finally come to terms with the fact that they love to play in this way. Most recently these large, heavy, items made for relaxing on, have been transformed into forts, ships, homes and traps. They provide hours of entertainment, and with a little effort and cleaning they are once again transformed into somewhere to sit.

Early Weeks

Grayson has been such a good baby! He is quite mellow and a happy baby as long as Mom stays away from chocolate and spice! He is a sleeper, and a snuggler - which we love! He spent three days on a Billi-blanket for his jaundice, we where thrilled that we could keep him home during his treatment. The boys continue to show more and more interest in him as time goes on, they love to show him off and they make sure to tell everyone that he is soooooooo cute! One thing Grayson loves is to eat, it seems that he is always ready for more and it is starting to show! We can't believe how fast he is growing and filling out, each time I do laundry it seems that I am putting some more clothes in the pile to be boxed away because they've been outgrown. You wish they could stay small forever, but the truth is the whole journey is wonderful, and we're so lucky to have this little guy as our son and brother.

First Visitors

It was so fun to have so many visitors soon after Grayson was born. Both sets of Grandparents, Uncles Luke, Michael, and Brad,along with Aunts Julie and Whitney. Of course there was the brothers and we were so excited for our growing family to be together for the first time. During the following weeks we were the grateful recipients of many well wishes, dinners and gifts from family and dear friends - thank you all!!!

Grayson Hyatt

Grayson Brent Hyatt arrived on December 31st at 5:08 p.m. He weighed in at 7lbs 10oz and measured 21in long. Mom and baby are doing wonderful!
